"A robust, group-centric, CMS platform is the next wave for business blogging... as a fully integrated web strategy."
Business guru John Jantsch (from the outstanding site Duct Tape Marketing) had this to say about what is coming next in the world of web-saavy business:

I think it's time to move beyond the notion that a blog is part of a web site, an appendage of sorts, where blog posting is done. The idea that makes blogs so powerful is that they enable anyone in the organization to easily create education based, search-engine friendly content at the drop of a hat..... fully functioning content management systems (CMS) that give businesses the power to dominate search results through massive content creation, cross purposing, and keyword-rich aggregation and filtering... Content is easily created, stored in a database, delivered to a designated page, tagged, and searchable.... I would like to suggest that a robust, group centric, CMS platform is the next wave for business blogging—but not blogging and "we have a blog"—blogging as a fully integrated web strategy. — from The next wave in business blogging, by John Jantsch

I think John's hit the nail on the head. In fact, what he's describing is the central philosophy of Firewind Productions.

Simply put, the old analogies no longer apply to the web.  If you just build it, they will not come.  If you just throw a static, unchanging, online brochure of a website up, you may get a little bit of notice but it will die away unless supplemented by outside advertising.

The new paradigm is this: if you design it so that the content most important to your target audience is readily accessible, design it to target your specific audience, design your business site to showcase the unique, valuable articles and rich media that your target audience is looking for; if you spend the time and the effort to put it all together before any code hits the Internet; then launch your site with valuable content and keep updating it as often as you can with even more valuable content, they will come.  Not only will they come, they will keep coming.

They will come again and again to your website not because they're responding to an ad, but because they are actively looking for the valuable content you have to offer.  It's called INBOUND ADVERTISING, and it's nothing less than revolutionary.  It has potentially the single greatest return on investment (ROI) of any form of advertising, period.  You just have to think about blogging as not just a nice addendum to your site, but as the core purpose of your site.

Sound complicated?  We can make it easy.  Give me a call today at 1-800-698-1647 ext. 1 and let's get started!  There's no obligation and I'd be honored to give you a free quote.
