I’ve always loved lions. And lambs. From the very first time I read the Chronicles of Narnia, I dreamed of burying my hands into the friendly mane of Aslan. And I have held little lambs with their milky breath and softness. When I began this work, I wanted to capture the same expression in the lion and in the lamb. If you look closely, you will see that there are tears in the eyes of both: this is the God I have come to know, who weeps and cries and carries us when our little legs get tired.
